STITCHING UP A FLYING GEESE BLOCK

We will now piece together the Flying Geese Unit.

Sew piece 10 to piece 11 and press towards the white.
Trim off that dog ear.

Sew piece 12 to the other side of 11.
Trim off the dog ear. You should be seeing a trend here, I trim off those dog ears as I go, shoot I have the block in my hand anyway :0)

Be sure that you are getting right into the corners at the point. This point looks deceptively good.....
However, if you spread the white pieces away from the point you see a gap.You know that you stitched into the point correctly when you try to spread them apart and you still have a nice point.

Again press towards the white and lay this unit back down with the others.
