THE BONUS BLOCK

This is the bonus block. It's a bit more challenging than the previous block but you have learned how to complete each of these components. Click on the block image in my side bar to get to the PDF files for this pattern.


Here is what the block templates should look like after you have numbered the sections.


On a more intense block, I will sometimes map out how I will be pressing the seams before I even start stitching. This block has a multi-seamed block in the center and I always press that block with all seams going in the same direction so that I have a nice swirly in the middle. From that point on I work my way around the block determining where I can get the most swirlies....the rest of the seams will be however they end up.


Crispy
