MORE ON PRESSING

Now the block is finished and I need to press it.


I could just press it all to the outside. If I have a very intricate piece in the center, like the LeMoyne or a Mariner's Compass, I don't press towards that block unless I really have to.


I found that if I press the 4 Patches towards the Flying Geese, the corner automatically stands up.


What stands up can be pressed so the seams will lie much flatter.


Here is the back of the block, all pressed nice and neat. Lots and lots of lovely swirlies and where the seams won't swirl, I made sure that they lay flat underneath.
